So you want to get out of your 9 to 5 job? You thought internet marketing might be a way to do it but it sounds too hard. Well wake up! Nothing in this life that is worth having is easy. Just look at Jessica Watson, a young Aussie who had a dream and has gone for it, or I should say is doing it.
Jessica has set up a blog to document her journey around the world. She has also monetized the blog as well which I am sure is to help pay for her journey, even though she has sponsors. Jessica may not realize it but she has essentially put in place the beginnings of an internet marketing career by:
- Setting up a blog which is easy to do and there is plenty of information available on how to do it
- Blogging about her passion and her journey which is all unique content
- Monetizing the site
- It also helps to be blogging about something that is news worthy, which this certainly is.
So if Jessica Watson, a young Aussie can do this, don’t you think you might be able to do it too. All it takes is action. It might not be perfect at first but if you keep trying for perfection it will never see the light of day. The biggest secret to internet marketing is to TAKE ACTION.

Jessica certainly is an inspiration young lady.
She has already become a household name, and an Australian icon all at the age of 16.
Chances are she will be able to devote the rest her life to whatever her passions are (rather than a j.o.b.), and she has developed great action taking habits.
And all she did was decide to follow her dream, and took action.

It amuses me that the media attention is on whether she will break a record or not. She’s 16, went out on her own on a voyage very few people would do and is near to accomplishing a dream of hers.

No matter what the media is saying about Jess at the moment, they will all be lining up to interview her and trying to be the first

Amazing how a simple word such as ACTION is all it takes and yet so many just don’t do it. Jessica is not only taking on a great challenge but as you say, she is blogging at the same time. And to think that most people could not even manage to leave the tv off for ONE night and take action. A shame. The world would be a different place if more people took action with their passions.
