Where Can Baby Boomers Find Easy To Use Affiliate Marketing Tools?

The company you select to represent will usually have free affiliate marketing tools available to use for your affiliate marketing plan. What is offered varies from company to company, but all offer the minimum requirements. The tools provided are often a good starting place for baby boomers, since they are fully integrated to work smoothly with each other, support is available and they are usually simpler to use than some of the purchased software.

So What Are Affiliate Marketing Tools?

Affiliate Marketing ToolsUnless the affiliate already has an existing website, it will be necessary to create one. Affiliate marketing tools are the programs needed to design the website, as well as adding the banners and imbedded links. Tools are also used to create coupon requests and to track and rank keywords.  There are also tools for search engine optimization, tracking potential earnings, and locating desirable sites for inclusion.

Are There More Advanced Programs Available?

KeywordsA sub-category of software has sprung up to offer affiliate marketing tools to perform specific functions. Some of these can be downloaded for free, while others charge a fee. There are tools to analyze text for commonly misspelled words, which can then be added as keywords so that when users make a spelling error, they will find your website. Other programs are advanced keyword generators and analyzers while others make things such as banner rotation easier.

Will the Free Affiliate Tracking Tools Work With An Existing Site?

Free Affiliate Marketing ToolsIn most cases, yes. The companies offering free affiliate tools know that many people already have websites, and have therefore, made sure that their tools can be used by the majority of their users.  However, there are so many possible ways to develop a website that there is no guarantee of success. The odds are against this, though, because in most cases, these are “hack” programs that someone created for personal use.

What Are Some Special Affiliate Marketing Tools I Should Consider?

Optin FormThe most critical affiliate marketing tools will be provided by the company you are joining. As you grow, or if you are in a hurry to build your site as quickly as possible, consider a good search engine optimizer. A content update request tool can be handy, since it tracks the need for fresh text and notifies you when it is needed.

If a blog is to be included on your site, there are programs specifically designed to create them. And finally, if an “opt-in” feature is included (where visitors to the site agree to receive email from you) you might consider a tool to add this functionality.

Why Would I Buy Programs If Affiliate Marketing Tools Are Available For Free?

Many of the affiliate marketing tools offered are very rudimentary (although some are cutting edge and will handle any need you might have). Depending on the site, the full functionality you require might not be available through them. Also, as you expand and gain experience, you might want to add features that can only be done with special software.  Before purchasing a tool, check to see if there is a free source, from a reliable site, that might serve the purpose.

    Thanks for this information.
From personal experience I have purchased affiliate marketing tools only to discover that there are very good free tools available online that will do the same job. I chalk these purchases up to experience. Some other paid tools are very valuable too.

As a blogger and affiliate marketer I would also find it useful if you included a link or two through to some example sites of free affiliate marketing tools.
